Team USA Basketball Unveils Roster for Tokyo Olympics
Led by LeBron James and Kevin Durant, the team boasts a combined 11 Olympic appearances
USA Basketball is the recognized governing body for basketball in the US by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
The United States roster of 12 players for the Olympic Games in Tokyo has been announced, and it is led by two of the biggest names in basketball: LeBron James and Kevin Durant. The team boasts a combined 11 Olympic appearances and owns 10 Olympic gold medals, as well as three FIBA World Cup titles.
The FIBA Men's Basketball World Cup is held every four years and features 32 teams vying for the gold medal. The United States has won the World Cup five times, more than any other country.
Led by now three-time Olympian Kevin Durant, USA Basketball unveiled its official 12-member US Olympic Men’s Basketball Team roster. The roster includes eight players who have won an NBA championship.
